Killara Park Getaway

Farmstay Heathcote

A COUNTRY GETAWAY,VIEWS, ISOLATION, PEACE, IRISH THEME, YABBIES

Description

“Killara Park” is a working farm (merino sheep). It has also been reinvented as a ‘host farm’.

We can sleep up to twelve people in the house in four bedrooms. There is also the option of
Accommodation in the shearing shed. This facility can cater for up to thirty guests and has been
very popular for the four weddings that have been held at “Killara Park”. The shed has been used for
multiple milestone birthday parties and woolshed dances. The facility is a real party venue and does
set the scene for a successful swinging function.

The house is fully self-contained and fitted out with quality fittings with an Irish theme (bedrooms
are called ‘Galway, Dublin, Cork, Tipperary etc.!). There are excellent views and it is set in a very
Picturesque and scenic environment. “Killara Park” has hosted retreat groups, art groups and a
Quilters group over a number of years. These groups always appreciate the peaceful isolation that
“Killara Park” provides.

Barbeque and Weber facilities are provided for outdoor and alfresco activities.

There are two viable yabby dams on the property. Yabbies can be caught in the months of
September until April. There is a butterfly yabby net supplied.
