There are lots of reasons to love Masons of Bendigo.
It could be because Nick and Sonia source all of their high quality produce, wine, beer and cider from local growers and makers. It could be because of their well-deserved accolades – including a One Chef's Hat from The Age Good Food Guide and a Gold at the recent Qantas Australian Tourism Awards. Perhaps it's their delicious food, great service, support of the local community and general all-round awesome-ness.
Personally, I love Masons because of their roaming menu. It's the ultimate indulgence – succulent bite size pieces of local produce carefully presented like art on a plate. Nick and Sonia create the perfect combinations and your job is simply to sit back and enjoy.
Let me introduce you to Mason's lunchtime roaming menu! Seven delicious dishes, all delivered to your table in perfect order and in less than 50 minutes (so you can squeeze the experience into your lunch break with no worries). Best of all, it's priced at only $34.50.
I decided to try out the roaming lunch menu for myself (all in the name of research, of course. You're welcome!). Now imagine seven mouthwatering dishes being delivered to your table in perfect time, each as jaw dropping as the other, and perfectly presented.
My favourite was the pork shoulder (sourced from local producer McIvor Farm Foods of Tooborac) – perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and topped with cashews, chili and a sweet slice of peach. Delicious!
If you've ever been keen to try out Masons but haven't had the opportunity to get there for dinner, I can absolutely recommend lunch as the perfect Masons-lite option. As always, Masons of Bendigo continues to deliver in every way. Book yourself in for this mouth-watering lunch now.
