Bendigo - Lifes A DishBendigo's popular "Life's A Dish" restaurant program is now offering its next delicious course.
Take home a plateful of Bendigo dining memories and stories
The inspiration for “Life’s A Dish” was with a tip of the chef’s hat to the remarkable Buon Ricordo concept that began in Northern Italy in 1964.
Bendigo’s premier restaurants offer collectable plates as a souvenir of a memorable, regional meal, as part of this initiative called “Life’s A Dish”. Bendigo Pottery, Australia’s oldest working pottery has embraced “Life’s A Dish” and now create hand-painted plates that are unique for each of the participating restaurants. Speciality dishes, distinguishing architectural features and nearby landmarks inspired the lively artwork on the ceramic plates which are available for purchase at participating restaurants for $19.95 each.
Each restaurant experience will provide the inspiration to visit another Bendigo restaurant to collect another plateful of stories and culinary memories.
