Walking tracks, wildflowers and birdlife attract walkers, bike riders, picnic goers, prospectors and those looking for tranquility. Take the challenge of a bush walk to Devil’s Cave and Viewing Rock for a great view of the town.
Historic Treasures
With a rich gold mining history, there’s a wealth of stories and historically significant sites to see. Historic buildings like the courthouse have been refurbished and nearby Graytown offers evidence that the area once attracted thousands of diggers. Streets, building foundations and a cemetery remain from the former township.
