Awarded 'One Chef Hat' by The Age Good Food Guide 2016 and Number 1 ranking on Trip Advisor, Masons of Bendigo continues to strive toward showcasing the best of Central Victorian produce which also includes wine, beer and cider.

Located at 25 Queen Street Bendigo, in the old WD Masons Glass shop, once operating as the oldest family run business in Australia. Russell & George architects have created an interior that combines the old with the new resulting in a very unique space for Central Victoria. With a culmination of local and international experience over a 20 year period, Nick and Sonia's focus is to highlight the exceptional local produce of Central Victoria and to develop relationships with the farmers and primary producers creating a direct link from paddock to plate ethos.

French and English food styles feature on Nick's menus from his experiences in London and Melbourne, whilst Asian flavours have evolved from his time with Teage Ezard @ Ezards and as Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz Carlton Millenia in Singapore.


Nick and Sonia are very excited to have the opportunity to showcase Central Victoria’s best produce.

We are proud to showcase around 70 locally grown products for you to enjoy from our menu at any one time. It is continually evolving with the seasons and producers availability.

In order to maximize your dining experience we have created smaller, share style dishes which are presented in the center of the table. Have fun tasting and sharing lots of different dishes from the varied flavours on our menu.

Having trouble deciding?

Try our 'Roaming Menu'. Allow the chefs to prepare our most popular dishes using the best of local produce. (minimum two people)

We also offer a 'Banquet Menu' in our private dining rooms upstairs catering for groups of 8 – 30.
