Lake Eppalock
Lake Eppalock is now full to the brim, perfect for water based activities and family picnics. Constructed on the Campaspe River in the 1960s, this vast lake has always been popular for boating and water recreation, so visitors are delighted to have it back as a favourite after 10 years of low water levels.

Getting There
Lake Eppalock is an easy 30-40 minute drive from Bendigo via the McIvor Highway or Strathfieldsaye Road, and a 15-20 minute drive from Heathcote.
Directions from the CBD –
Route 1: From Alexandra Fountain, follow High Street to Chapel Street – turn right. Turn left onto the McIvor Highway at the large roundabout. Follow this through to Lake Eppalock.
Route 2: At Alexandra Fountain, turn right into Mitchell Street, follow it over the railway line then turn left at the lights into Miller Street. At the large roundabout turn into Townsend Street which then becomes Condon Street. Follow this out to Lake Eppalock through Kennington and Strathfieldsaye.
