Details
The living arts space has positioned itself to provide a unique and dynamic role for the Greater Bendigo region, offering a niche exhibition venue in between community and formal gallery exhibition spaces. The philosophy behind creating such a space was to identify and showcase quality emerging talents of local artists and build local stories, which have the ability to attract broader community audiences using the magnificent heritage backdrop of the building. To differentiate the living arts space further, exhibitors are encouraged to demonstrate, interact and contribute to a vibrant and comprehensive public program to engage and inspire audiences. The concept behind the space is ‘living’ hence the name, where there is activity rather than static displays or exhibitions.
