CAFEOur winery cafe is the perfect spot to enjoy a casual lunch with friends or family, overlooking the ever changing vineyards. Enjoy a glass or two of Balgownie wine with lunch and let the afternoon just pass you by. Open 12 - 3 everyday. Groups are most welcome - bookings of over 10 are essential. Wine tastings are complimentary.
ACCOMMODATION The two boutique accommodation suites are housed in Balgownie House. Classically restored to its former glory, the 80 year old miner's cottage is nestled within the picturesque grounds of Balgownie Estate Vineyard & Winery. Here you can unwind and enjoy absolute relaxation in your self-contained contemporary accommodation, with separate lounge and dining, spacious bedroom, ensuite and spa bath. Retreat to the sanctuary of your private Balgownie House suite, up-todate technology with wide screen televisions and blue-ray disc home theatre sound system in each lounge area and small television in each bedroom.Wander down to the cellar door for a leisurely lunch and wine tasting or venture out to explore the wonderful architecture, galleries and museum which all reflect the prosperity of this former gold rush region.
Should you want to stay in and soak up the ambience of the cottage and surrounds, gourmet platters are available from the cellar door so you can relax and enjoy a meal while you watch the sun set over the vineyard. Please note: these must be ordered in advance when booking your room.

Balgownie House comprises two luxury, boutique self contained accommodation units within a classically restored, 80 year old miners cottage, located within the picturesque grounds of Balgownie Estate vineyard and winery Bendigo. The two contemporary style units incorporate modern decor, separate lounge and dining area, ensuite with spa and queen sized bed in a spacious bedroom. One unit consists of a pull out sofa in the lounge room for extra guests. FREE wireless internet connection available at cellar door for Balgownie House guests. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received at any time will incur an administration fee from the Bendigo Visitor Centre of $27.50.If booking is cancelled within 48 hours of check in the first full nights tariff will be charged.
